Sell Your Vacation Photos to Help Offset the Cost of Your Trip

If you're already taking photos of your trip, you might as well make a couple bucks off them (and you don't need a fancy camera to do it.) You won't get rich, but you may be able to cover the cost of souvenirs or a nice meal.

Of course, you should only sell the good photos. Skip the ones with friends or family in them, since they may not want their image being used for stock photos. Travel+Leisure recommends entering your photos in contests to try for a big payday, but you can also sell your photos on sites like iStock, Alamy, Shutterstock, and Getty Images. If you have video from your travels, you can sell those, too.

DON'T waste money on expensive streaming services. Simply think of your favourite tune and hum it. If you want to "switch tracks", simply think of another song you like and hum that instead.

Shoes last twice as long if only worn every other day.

Take one grape to the till. It won't register on the low-tech, insensitive scales so you will get it for free. Repeat this procedure 100 times or so and you have yourself a free bunch of grapes.

You can also cut your mobile phone bill by switching it off, and talking to people face to face.
In some countries, you get paid to donate blood: worth considering if you are low on cash.

That's an excellent idea. I've already sold many of my organs, and I have excess blood capacity now. I wish I had more life to hack out.

In this day and age you'd have to show them something equivalent to Moonrise over Hernandez to earn more than the price of a cup of coffee. Royalties are measured in the pennies right now. It's a veritable ocean out there of stock photos and growing exponentially. A total buyer's market, dominated by those listed above and concentrating further still. I'm not saying don't do it but also check what rights you are handing over as well and make sure you're okay with it.
