Run A Game Boy Emulator In Terminal

Some days, you’re just stuck working in your Terminal and need a quick break. For those days, a Game Boy game or two might help pass the time a little quicker.

This project uses PHP, so you’ll need to be running at least PHP 5.6 or 7. Beyond that, it’s just installing a single bit of software, then starting up the emulator with a couple games.

There’s not a ton of logical reasons why you’d do this, but if you work with PHP a lot, it’s a great way to see just what kind of crazy things it’s capable of. Head over to GitHub for the guide and everything else you’ll need.
