Keep Slouchy Sweater Sleeves Rolled Up With A Hair Tie

Office air conditioning can feel like Artic wind and many people have taken to keeping sweaters or cardigans at work to beat the cold. Sometimes you need to push up your long sweater sleeves, but it usually doesn’t take long before they slouch and fall back down. There’s an easy fix, though, and all it takes is a couple of hair bands.

This trick comes via Refinery 29’s Split Second Stylist series. Editor Connie Wang shows you how to keep long sleeves in place using a hair tie around your arm. Simply push the tie up where you want your sleeves to stay, then cover it up with part of the sleeve.

It should go without saying that you don’t want to use too tight of a band; find one that fits comfortably but still keeps those sleeves up. Wang shows you how it’s done in a video at the link below.
