I know you guys would never have any of this “leftover beer” lying about, but say you have a guest who just can’t finish that big bottle they started pouring from. You could drink it, sure, or you could use a cup of it to make a decadent toffee sauce.

Click the link below for the full recipe, but you probably have most of the ingredients already. You’ll just need some cream, brown sugar (dark or light), and some vanilla and salt. Combine, simmer, reduce and pour over some bread pudding for the sweetest hair of the dog you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Don’t have time to whip up a sauce just now? No problem. You can pop that open bottle of beer in the freezer and let it chill out until you’re ready to use it. Also, if you truly never, ever, in your whole life would never even think about opening a beer and not drinking every last precious drop, you can also just open a bottle to make this toffee sauce, because how amazing does beer toffee sauce sound?
