Time to dust off your neglected waffle maker — or go buy one. Pizza waffles are a convenient way to indulge your homemade pizza cravings in about 10 minutes.
You’ll need pizza dough, pizza sauce and cheese, along with anything else you want to add in, such as pepperoni or veggies. As the video above shows, all you have to do is top one layer of the dough with your fillings, then add another layer of dough and let the waffle maker do the rest in about 5 minutes.
I made this yesterday for my family and it was doughy/tomato-y/cheesy goodness. Cheese and sauce did spill out over the edges of the waffle maker, but that was a small price to pay. Use more sauce than you might think you’d need.
