Slow cooker cookbook author Stephanie O’Dea shares this quick tip on The Huffington Post: just put the ingredients into a smaller oven-safe dish and put the dish in the slow cooker.
It should cook the same and, even better, will likely be easier to clean than your larger crockpot.
