VLC For iOS Adds Support For Split-Screen, Customisable Gestures And Touch ID

iOS: The VLC app on iOS got an update today that adds a ton of new features, including support for split-screen on the iPad and Touch ID support.

The big new feature for iPad users is the new split-screen support, so you can now watch movies at the same time as you’re checking email or whatever. You can also now lock the app behind Touch ID if you don’t want people snooping on your video collection. Beyond that, the app gets a couple new customisation options, including the ability to configure gestures and set up your own playback continuation options.
