Pocket Now Lets You Follow People And Read What They’re Recommending

Pocket’s recommended feed just got a little more personal. You can now follow friends and interesting public figures to see what they’re recommending in the read-it-later service, and share your own recommendations as well.

You can connect your address book, Twitter, and Facebook accounts to follow what others are recommending and Pocket recommends a few dozen interesting people as well.

In addition to sharing articles, videos, and blog posts, with the new recommend button, the app lets you highlight portions of text to call out with your recommendation.

In case you’re worried, don’t worry. Your list is still private and only the stuff you actively recommend will be visible to others.

The new feature is available now for the Android and iOS apps (update your app to get it) and will be coming to the webapp soon.
