Google Play Music’s Family Plan Is Finally Rolling Out

Google announced a family subscription plan for Google Play Music a few months ago, but the option to sign up is just starting to roll out. Soon you’ll be able to share Google Play Music with five other people.

The plan costs $US14.99 ($21) a month for unlimited ad-free music streaming for up to 6 family members. It’s a pretty good deal considering the individual plan costs $12 a month.

Each user will be able to have separate listening preferences and experiences, so your favourites and music recommendations won’t be tarnished by your other family members’ music tastes.

You’ll only be to sign up for the family plan in the Android app, but everyone can use the subscription on Android, iOS, and the web. The subscription option is rolling out in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, France, and Germany over the next few days.
