As PureWow demonstrates, the KonMari technique keeps t-shirts and other garments folded in a compact, vertically-stackable way. You can pile a bunch of shirts into a small drawer and still be able to see the edge of each shirt. You may not be able to see every detail of the design, but it’s an easy way to get an idea of which shirt you’re grabbing out of a large collection at a glance.
