Doze Settings Editor Lets You Tweak Android Marshmallow’s Best Feature

Android Marshmallow introduced the sweet new Doze feature, that makes your battery life last super long when you’re not actively using your device. If you have root, this app lets you tweak this awesome feature.

Doze works by putting you phone into a deep sleep when your phone is stationary, the screen is off, and unplugged. Android assumes that under these conditions, you don’t need major battery drains like network activity and wake locks.

Doze Settings Editor allows you to tweak things like when Doze activates, how much movement it takes to disable Doze, and more. The most recent version of the app comes with preset profiles to help you tweak the settings without having to experiment with the many, many available settings. This app requires root.
