Thank A Colleague At The End Of The Day To Start Tomorrow On A Positive Note

A bit of gratitude does more than just make you feel good: it can improve your finances, help your relationships, and even make you work better. Throwing a little gratitude at your colleagues at the end of the day can help set a productive precedent for the following day.

It’s a simple enough suggestion. Over at Business Insider, Tim Hird, executive director of Robert Half Management Resources, gives few tips for ending the day on a high note. He says saying thank you can go a long way:

Whether it’s for nailing an investor presentation or grabbing lunch for you when you didn’t have a chance to break away, expressing gratitude generates positive feelings and makes others — and you — feel good. “Ending each day on a positive note gives us a head start on tomorrow,” says Hird.
