As personal finance blog Millenial Money Hack explains, Cut 3 For 3 works like this: find three recurring expenses or bills that you can reduce each month. Do this for three months. The lifestyle change won’t be as stark, and should make it easier to save cash over the long run.
More importantly, it’s easier to find bills to cut when you’re only limiting yourself to three changes a month. As the site points out, the first month’s cut expenses were Spotify, Amazon Prime, and bottled water. That’s not too bad, actually! You may have different expenses you want to cut, but changing three expenses likely won’t have a devastating effect on your lifestyle.
