62% of us worry so much about money that it wrecks our sleep. Needless worrying doesn't do us any good, but paying more attention to our finances might actually help us worry less about money.

This post's title is a quote from Frugal Rules:
Basically, although it might seem counterintuitive, the best way to stop worrying about money is to pay more attention to it. Get current on your bills. Save an emergency fund. Track your spending. Budget. Hire a financial planner. All of these steps might take you a little while to complete but the end result is a much higher satisfaction with the current state of your finances and much less worry.
We worry most about things we feel we don't have any control over. Taking the steps to save for emergencies and track your spending, however, gives you a little more control and may make personal finance less overwhelming. If you have your savings on autopilot and the other basics of money management downpat, you can relax a little.
