Google is heavily targetting the wearables space both with its own Android Watch OS ecosystem and by releasing apps for the Apple Watch such as News and Weather. Version 4.11.0 of Google Maps, released today, has been made to be compatible with the Apple Watch.

The update also adds other functionalities including a feature to easily compare estimated time of arrival across driving, transit, walking, and biking as well as the ability to initiate a call to a business through the app. You can now also get directions directly from a list of places.

You can get the updated app on the Apple iTunes Store.
