YouTube’s New Gaming-Centric Hub Goes Live

Android/iOS/Web: YouTube’s new gaming service is set to finally roll out today. In response to services like Twitch, as well as the massive amount of gameplay videos on YouTube, the company is launching YouTube Gaming to give players a space of their own.

The new service is rolling out to users today (so if it’s not live for you yet, check back later). YouTube Gaming will allow users to browse their favourite channels and see who’s broadcasting live at any given time. You can also browse backlogs of a particular channel’s videos. Early reviews have indicated that not only is YouTube Gaming pretty good for gaming, it’s nicer than YouTube’s regular interface.

The web version of YouTube gaming will be available worldwide starting today. However, the Android and iOS apps will only be available in the US and UK to start with.
