I ended up making five crockpot freezer meals, each with about two pounds of meat and one cup of sauce. Here’s what I made:
- Chicken breasts + BBQ sauce
- Chicken breasts + Italian dressing
- Pork roast + salsa
- Beef roast + grape jelly, ketchup, and allspice (one of my favourite recipes from my No Cook Freezer Meals cookbook)
- Beef roast + pickle juice, butter, ranch seasoning, and au jus seasoning
Naturally, use what you have and what you want to get rid of. While this tip might not blow your mind, it’s something to consider the next time you’re looking at sad half-empty containers taking up too much space in your fridge, and it only takes a few minutes to prep these meats (which you can serve with a simple side dish like a salad or on top of rice, etc.).
