What apps/software/tools can’t you live without?

Gmail, Excel, iPad, BoardBooks, Bloomberg.

What social network do you find the most useful?

Twitter for work and Strava for fun.

What were the most important lessons you learned while growing your business?

Focus on your team. Attracting and developing ‘A’ players is the most important ingredient for any great business. Look for great leaders, not just great managers.

What has been the most surprising part of your business journey?

How important your business network is; and how interconnected so many people are.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else?

Resilience. I generally deal with setbacks quite well.

What’s your sleep routine like?

7-8 hours most nights; although I’ve not done much sleeping in since I took up cycling.

What advice would you offer to other businesses on how to succeed?

Focus on being great at one thing. Then challenge your teams to be better at it.
