Fix A Cracked Pie Crust With A Bit Of Flour And Water

There's nothing worse than rolling out a beautiful pie crust only to have it crack during baking. It turns out that there's a super-easy fix, and it doesn't require any extra dough.

As the video above shows us, simply make a flour-water paste and gently smooth it along the crack. Pop it back in the oven until the paste dries, and your shell will be good as new.

    would be interesting to see what the actual end result is; particularly how intact the shell remains when you lift the pie out. Given that you're only applying it to the very top I would have thought it would fall apart when you take it out with filling inside
