Zencastr Records Podcast VOIP Audio From Your Guest’s Computer

Recording your own podcast is a pretty complicated affair, but Zencastr is a web app currently in beta that allows you to record audio on multiple computers, then upload that all to Dropbox.

With Zencastr, you set up a recording, then send an invite link to your guests. They will click the link, then Zencastr records their audio from their computer and saves it on Dropbox as an individual track. This should make your recordings a lot clearer because you’re not recording the VOIP audio.

Currently, it works with both Skype and Hangouts. Eventually, it will be a paid service, but it’s free while it’s in beta if you want to check it out.
