Now You Can Drop Photos Into Hangouts

Google’s mini update to Hangouts lets you drag and drop photos directly into the window, instead of browsing through files to select them.

“Wait, hang on a minute while I find that…” is not an ideal thing to have to say in a quick, 15 minute business meeting. And you might not have to again, as long as you’re prepared.

If you’re like me, when you’re in a Hangouts meeting with multiple people, you may want to treat the meeting space like a front page, and curate it appropriately. That means paying attention to publishing, and it can be helpful to have a side window with large thumbnails ready to drop in at the appropriate time.

It’ll give you a chance to confirm so you don’t have to worry about mistakes. The ol’ copypasta should also work.
