Keep Baked Goods From Going Stale With Sugar Cubes

If you just made a batch of cookies or cup cakes, you can keep them from going stale by storing them with a few sugar cubes.

This video from the the HouseholdHacker YouTube channel goes over multiple uses for plain white sugar around the home, including how to use sugar cubes to keep your breads, cookies, cakes and croissants from going stale too fast.

Place a few basic sugar cubes in the storage container and they will help absorb moisture, fighting staleness and helping to prevent mould. You can even make your own if you don’t want to buy them in cube form at the store.
