Google May Offer ‘Did You Mean’ Suggestions While Searching On Android

Google’s “Did you mean” feature is a handy way to avoid having to remember how to spell things. Now, Google seems to be spreading its reach to autocomplete suggestions on Android, before you’ve even completed your search.

Google’s predictive features are much more potent on the desktop where Google can fill in results as you type. On mobile, however, it’s harder to give answers before you give them. This seems like a nice step in that direction, though. As Android Police points out, this feature only appears to be on certain devices, so it may be a slow rollout on Google’s part, or it may simply be an A/B test to see how users like it. I have personally seen it on my own device and it’s pretty handy, so hopefully other users will also appreciate the feature.
