Firefox OS 2.5 Due In November

The next release of Mozilla’s mobile OS promises more customisation, more local features and a better privacy model.

Mozilla’s announced when the next iteration of its Firefox OS will be launched, tagging a November release for the operating system in its current road map.

Firefox OS 2.5 should bring with it a “Firefox-like” extension system as well as the ability to view page source, although that’s still under evaluation. To date, not too many actual Firefox OS phones have made it to the Australian marketplace, however.
