A well-stocked go bag makes it easy to quickly hit the road for business or pleasure. You probably have a go bag for yourself, but consider one for your pet as well. Having everything they need while you’re out will keep them happy and safe on your next trip.

Whether you’ve decided to go on a day hike or just visit a friend’s house, you want your pet to be entertained. You also want to be prepared in case anything happens to them. A pet go bag makes sure you have everything you need to do both. The ASPCA has the perfect checklist to start one:
- Pet first aid kit and medications
- Food and treats
- Water
- Bowl
- Leash
- Baggies for poop
- A few favourite toys
- Towels and a brush to clean them off
Make sure you periodically check the first-aid kit and other consumable items to make sure they haven’t expired or gone bad. Having a go bag at the ready means you spend less time throwing these things together and more time enjoying time with your furry friend.
