Hanging plants are great, but sometimes they’re really hard to get to. Over on Make, they show you how to build a motorised system to raise and lower plants for easy pruning and watering.
The system uses a small motor and a set of buttons to raise and lower potted plants. It’s certainly a complex solution to a small problem, but it’s a fun project nonetheless. If you have really high ceilings, it will also negate the need for a step ladder. Head over to Make for the full guide.
