Office 365 Online Adds Notifications, Custom Help


The web version of Office 365 for business customers is about to get a revamp, with a persistent notifications button to highlight new emails, likes and other group communications.

The update is being rolled out to Office 365 sites over the next “several months”, according to a Microsoft blog post. First Release customers will receive early access. The update also integrates Skype for Business and adds a context-sensitive settings area.

One other sensible change: administrators can customise online help to include contact details for internal support, which eliminates the need to look it up separately. Check out the changes in the video above or find more details in the official announcement post linked below.
