Make Custom Box Sets To Organise And Display Your Prized Collections

Box sets look absolutely lovely, but they can be a huge waste of money if you already own what's in the set. Instead of forking over the cash for stuff you already have, you can create your own boxed set to display and organise your prized books, magazines or movies.

This video, from Jason Poel Smith at Make, shows you how to turn some regular hard cardboard into an effective — and awesome looking — organisation tool. If you're like me and refuse to let go of your magazine collections, this is a great way to get them out of your stashed-away bins and displayed up on your bookshelf. Make a few box sets for your awesome collection of Disney VHS tapes (you know you have some). Put one together for the complete discography of your favourite band. Whatever you want to display, these box sets are easy to make and you get to be creative. Check out the link below for step-by-step instructions.

Make a Box Set for Your Favourite Series [Make]

I hate those cardboard cases they use for some boxsets, I usually put each season into its own blu ray case that has the inserts, or for movies each movie into its own blu ray case and create my own custom sleeves in photoshop. Did the same for the Avengers collection that came in a inch thick blu ray case.

It's also nice to have a consistent theme through the cases, my Avengers ones are minimal, just a logo and title on a black background
