A good leader knows how to communicate, and more importantly, a good leader knows how to address communication issues. These three simple questions will always keep you on top of your game.

As a leader, you need to be able to externalise what you’re thinking, make sure that you’re heard, and also make sure you’re listening to the people around you. To do that, Rob Cromer, the CEO of Adcade, suggests you ask yourself these three questions on a regular basis:

  1. What am I not saying that needs to be said?
  2. What am I saying that’s not being heard?
  3. What’s being said that I’m not hearing?

Depending on your position, you might ask yourself every day or every week. Whenever you do it, make it a regular thing on your to-do list and give yourself some time to answer honestly. Even if you’re not a leader, these questions can help you with your communication too, so take a moment to see if you’re communicating as well as you should. Check out the link below to learn more.
