Apple Watch Can Run Mac OS 7.5

If you’ve been hankering to run a “full” operating system on Apple Watch, it’s technically possible, as long as you don’t mind using rather old software.

This particular hack uses the Mini vMac emulator running on a modified version of WatchOS 2, so don’t expect this as a standard app any time soon.

This isn’t, admittedly, a terribly functional hack, unless you’ve got a particular hankering for decrepit operating systems. Then again, OS 7.5 can run the amusing Oscar The Grouch trashcan animation, so there’s always that.
