iOS: Noon Pacific is one of our favourite little-known music services, and their iOS app just picked up a major update that makes taking their playlists on the go much easier. Unlike before, you can see full tracklists easily, skip as much as you want, switch mixtapes easily and more — all for free.
The previous version of the app was limited by the fact that the service was largely back-ended by 8Tracks, which meant there were limits on how many times you could skip a song, and the fact that you could only see the names of songs that have already played — not songs coming up in a mix. Now you can skip to your heart’s content, switch mixtapes and play any song in any mixtape on-demand, see full tracklists as soon as you start a mix, and even get push notifications when new mixes are posted.
