IT pros are in demand right now, and that’s filtering through to salaries. New data from the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) suggests that salaries for IT workers will go up 4.34 per cent in 2015 — much higher than the overall average of 3.4 per cent.

AIM bases the data on a survey of 557 organisations covering 25,000 employees. IT had a higher average annual salary growth than any other sector, and is predicted to see the greatest growth this year. Here’s the full breakdown across all industries:

This sort of thing should include regional areas as well and not just Metro areas. You will see it’s far different in regional areas then it is to metro areas. QLD government wants more people to move to regional areas too
