We all have a plan A for life, and maybe even a plan B. But knowing your “Plan Z”, your last resort option, can help motivate you to go after what you really want from life.

Visualising the negatives gives you a stronger appreciation for what you currently have, and helps you focus on what you really want out of life. For example, my Plan Z would be to sell most of what I own and crash with my parents. Since I really, really don’t want to do this (no offence mum and dad), it motivates me to save as much money as I can so I have funds to fall back on if I lost my job.
With a Plan Z in place, you’ll feel more secure in starting your own business or pivoting your career. You know you have people you can count on to help you if you fail, so go after your biggest goals.
