Make Your Own Homemade Candles With Leftover Milk Cartons

Classy candles can be expensive. You can create your own stylish candles cheaply at home using leftover milk cartons.

This video from the HouseholdHacker YouTube channel explains the simple candle-making process, as well as the ingredients you’ll need to get started. After safely melting down the wax, picking some dye, and adding any scents you’d like, you just need some milk cartons.

Cut the tops off the cartons, secure a wick of your choosing in the centre, and pour the wax in. You can even layer different coloured waxes to make it more decorative, and you could use leftover wax from old candles if you have some around. Now you can get romantic and make your house smell nice for a lot less.
