Back in February, Microsoft promised there would be a free version of Windows 10 for Raspberry Pi 2 owners. Now you can download the preview versions of the Windows 10 IoT Core release for the Raspberry Pi 2 or Intel’s Minnowboard Max.
As we noted when the scheme was first announced, the conditions for the developer program specify that you can only run one copy of Windows licensed this way on your premises at any one time. You can sign up to test the software at the link below; it’s very much a preview build, with some drivers and other key elements missing.
