- Trying to implement a big data project on Google Cloud Platform? The newly-in-beta Google Cloud Dataflow provides a means to automate big data workflows.
- Azure Premium Storage, which launched as a trial last December, is now generally available. Annoyingly, it still isn’t being offered in Australian regions, but Microsoft says additional regions will be added “in the near future”.
- Also hitting general availability is Azure Stream Analytics, which offers real-time processing for streaming data. And nope, this one isn’t in the Australian region yet either.
- Amazon is holdings its AWS Sydney Summit this week, and Lifehacker will be covering it. Cloud updates ahoy!
- Azure Media Player offers playback of Azure-stored media files on a wide range of platforms. It’s free to use for existing Azure Media Services customers.
