Brief news items of note for Lifehacker readers, including HBO Now cracking down on Australian users and a first look at Guitar Hero Live.
- If you’ve been accessing HBO Now through some VPN-level trickery, you might be about to have your account cut off. HBO has begun sending letters to users it believes are accessing the service from outside the US.
- NBN Co has begun a trial to increase speeds on its fixed wireless service. Good news for those who are on it, but the vast majority of people will be using some form of wired connection for the NBN.
- Curious about how the new Guitar Hero Live plays out? Mark over at Kotaku has checked it out and has some “feelings”.
- Ever wondered what a $10,000 PC looks like? Like this.
