OneNote Beefs Up Its Web Clipper

OneNote is one of our favourite note-keeping apps, and it’s free for pretty much everyone. A new version of the OneNote Clipper extension makes it much easier to save stuff you find online into your OneNote notebooks.

The biggest improvement in this version is the ability to choose where you save clipped pages to, rather than having them all dumped in the Quick Notes section. The clipper will default to saving to the last location you used.

Another neat enhancement is the ability to specify that you’re clipping an article, recipe or product page, and have OneNote automatically format that content. You can also now select just a particular region of a page. The extension works in Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari.
