If you’re in the market for a new fridge, dishwasher or other appliance, eBay is currently offering 15 per cent off until Monday on a variety of household items. While some deals are sure to be found, it’s best to keep your wits about you and not be too taken by the apparent savings… at least until you’ve done a little research.

Before you decide to spend your dollars with AO, you might want to check out the competition. As a number of OzBargain users discovered, some of the apparent deals aren’t so good, with The Good Guys and other retailers offering better deals even with the 15 per cent discount, when shipping is added.

You should also be aware of the terms and conditions, which stipulate five transactions per user, with a maximum discount of $200 per transaction.
