Notification Center is a useful feature for Mac users, and it’s easy enough to create a keyboard shortcut to pull it up by just hopping into the Keyboard Shortcuts menu in System Preferences. But if you’d prefer to invoke a specific view setting, iDownloadBlog shows off how.
The trick here is to use an AppleScript and Automator action to assign keyboard shortcuts to both the Today View and the Notifications View in Notification Center. Once you get that set up, you can assign a shortcut to either view to pull them up with just a tap of the keyboard. If you tend to look at your Notification Center a lot, this can save you a few clicks.
