Binge watching Netflix is a joy, but it’s also a dangerous game. If you’re sick of the autoplay feature that keeps you from doing anything productive with your life, then How-To Geek points out that it’s easy to turn off.
The feature’s technically called Post-Play, and you can disable it from the Netflix site. Once you do, the feature is disabled on all your devices. Here’s how to turn it off:
- Head to Netflix and click “Your Account”
- Select Playback Settings
- Uncheck the box marked “Play next episode automatically”
That’s it; the feature’s now off so you can carry on doing something more productive than watching 34 episodes of Doctor Who in a row.

Well that takes all the fun out of it…Netflix Binge FTW!
It’s worth pointing out that this is a per-profile setting. If you have multiple profiles/users on your account you can set it individually for each.
Probably shouldn’t tease us with a header photo from Black Mirror, a show sadly missing on Netflix AU.
