Chrome Update Speeds Javascript Load Times

The latest builds of Chrome for both desktop and mobile claim to improve Javascript loading times.

Google’s constant claim is that Chrome should be the fastest browser you can use, although results can vary depending on content and platform.

The Google Chromium Blog notes that the latest builds employ separate parsing of asynchronous Javascript threads as soon as a page download is commenced, in order to avoid delays in CPU utilization. The end result should be significantly faster page load times. It’s claimed to be around ten per cent faster, and particularly good for mobile clients or slow net connections.
