Make Dairy-Free Yoghurt With Coconut Milk

Whether you’re lactose intolerant, don’t eat dairy, or just want to try something different, you can easily create a dairy-free yoghurt by using coconut milk and a few other ingredients.

Making your own yoghurt is a fairly simple process. For the dairy-free version, all you need is:

  • Coconut milk
  • Thickening agent such as agar agar or tapioca powder (optional)
  • Sweetening agent such as raw sugar or maple syrup
  • Probiotic capsules (used to add health benefits and flavour; available in your local health food store or online)

There are a few methods you can use to actually make the yoghurt, one of which requires a thickening agent. But in general, all you need is a refrigerator and (possibly) a stove. Check out the full post below for the full recipe and its variants.
