For three months in a row, we’ve seen the number of IT job vacancies placed on job advertising site Indeed decline. So it’s mildly pleasing to report that the trend was reversed in January.

Overall postings were up 4.9%, but IT did even better, rising 9.6% compared to the previous month. There’s still a way to go to offset the three months of declines before that, but it should mean you have more chance of scoring a new job than in the recent past.
