Android/iOS: Today, IFTTT announced a collection of three new apps that will allow you to make use of your already awesome IFTTT recipes even faster.
There are three new apps you can download, each with different goals in mind. Do Camera is a camera that allows you to create buttons specifically for quickly triggering photo-related recipes. You can automatically add pictures to your calendar, share it to Twitter, or log them away in Evernote. Anything you can do with an IFTTT recipe can be turned into a button in this camera app. Do Note performs a similar task with note taking.
The third app, Do Button, is perhaps the most brilliantly simple of the three. This app does nothing but trigger recipes. You don’t need to take pictures or give it commands. Just press the button and the recipe runs. This can be useful for actions like turning connected lights on and off, sending “I’m on my way” texts to a specific person, or — and this is a real, pre-made recipe — making a phone call to yourself to get out of an awkward situation.

You know what would be handy: Do Tag. Triggering recipes from NFC tags. I know there are other ways to do this now, but integration into IFTTT would be handy.
What I’m really waiting for is being able to build recipies that are a little more complex and have more action states, eg. if I click the button, turn on my lights and air conditioner at home and post a note to Slack to say I’m clocking out for the day.
