Now that Christmas is over, you might have some leftover candy canes (and stores are selling them at bargain prices). Keep the spirit lasting into the new year by turning it into peppermint vodka.

We’ve covered infused vodkas such as bacon before, and the concept here is the same. Crush up some candy canes, put them in a bottle with vodka and let them sit. They will pick up the peppermint flavour. Use it with recipes that use peppermint shots or just drink it on the rocks.
