Microsoft Sway Adds Embed And Import Features

Microsoft has added some new features to the web version of Sway, its presentation builder that isn’t PowerPoint. The big additions in this version are the ability to use embed codes from other sites and an enhanced range of import options.

Support has been added for using embed codes from Vimeo, SoundCloud, Excel Online, Vine, Flickr and others. On the import front, Sway can now handle older .ppt PowerPoint files and .doc Word files (it could already handle the current .pptx and .docx formats). Files can now also be directly imported from OneDrive. The announcement post linked below has full details of the changes.
