Collar stays keep your shirt collars from curling, but they are easy to lose. You can turn an old gift card into a cheap collar stay.

Collar stays aren’t expensive, but gift cards are worthless after you’ve used them. If you’re stuck in a bind and need an extra stay, use one as a template and cut out a few spares (of if you don’t have one, try to use your shirt’s collar as a template). You’ll have a crisp, clean collar that’s environmentally friendly.
