   Cadbury posted this as a suggestion in one of their social media outlets and I have to agree with most of the commenters that it would just taste like latex, I doubt washing the balloons would take enough of the taste away….

   I’ve just tried doing this for the first time in preparation for my lovely lady on Valentine’s Day. It tastes fine, no latex flavour at all.

   If there is one piece of advice I need to give though, please for the love of god, LET THE CHOCOLATE COOL DOWN BEFORE COATING THE BALLOONS……my kitchen is covered in chocolate after an exploding balloon set off a chain reaction o_O
