If you put the vegetables on the BBQ in the wrong order, you have to keep up with several different cooking times, which leads to distractions and, ultimately, less tasty food. The Art of Manliness suggests starting with vegetables that take longer to cook -- such as corn, onions and capsicum -- then add things later that cook faster, such as zucchini. You can search online for individual vegetable cooking times, but the end goal is straightforward: try to time it so your veggies all come off the BBQ at roughly the same time.
